ENTER conferences have always been great and I enjoyed being there; excellent programme with a good mixture of research and industry presentations. There has been a very promising case study section on ENTER this year (and outstanding case studies will even be invited to the newly started case study section in the Journal of Information Technology and Tourism). I am quite excited to see how this will evolve in future ENTERs.

ENTER is a great event that helps to boost local (e)Tourism community, that involves young people (master students, volunteers) in the research and understanding on how digital technologies are important for future tourism development. Professionally, I met some interesting people who will now be colleagues and perhaps friends for life. I may also be initiating research and collaboration activities with some of my new-found colleagues.

The ENTER conferences have been amazing experiences for me. I had the chance to meet and discuss with people from academia and industry related to tourism and technology and get useful information about future trends and innovative research in the field. Great people, fascinating community! 

The IFITT community is growing worldwide and this is a sign of good health and liveliness. The presentations at ENTER gave me useful insights on current advances in academic research as well as in industry and destination practices. Good food for thought and inspiration for future projects! The interaction between academia, industry and public organizations is the strength of the conference and the aspect I appreciated more. ENTER is the ideal gate to the tourism and IT world for students and a good opportunity for industry and destination practitioners who want to stay tuned on innovative strategic solutions and applications for their activities. The organization of thematic workshops bringing together research papers and industry case studies could be the added value of ENTER.
